No. Altrace classifies content using boolean pattern matching — it returns yes/no, never extracts or stores text. HTTPS traffic uses CONNECT passthrough (we see hostnames only). Content classification is ephemeral. Your data never leaves your infrastructure.

Advisory mode provides budget tracking, kill switches, and audit trails — but applications can choose to bypass the proxy. Governance-grade mode uses infrastructure-level network controls to force all AI traffic through Altrace. Agents have no route around it.
Altrace uses a privacy-preserving architecture. Content classification produces simple yes/no labels — for example, "contains PII: yes" or "contains PII: no." The matched content is never extracted, stored, or transmitted to any third party. Your data stays in transit between your agents and the AI provider.
